Cynthia Morton, Ed. D
Cynthia Morton has worked in the field of education for over 29 years as a teacher, school counselor, peer educator, and virtual learning specialist. Outside of her professional career, she is a mother and grandmother. In addition to her work as an educator, Dr. Morton has presented at several academic conferences, educational workshops and webinars. Some of the areas of her expertise include conflict management, helping at-risk students, preparing parents for the new school year, suicide awareness, and youth mental health. Also, she holds several professional licenses and certifications in the areas of counseling, trauma and crisis, and civil mediation.
Presently, Dr. Morton serves as the Virtual Support Learning Specialist for Rockdale Virtual School where she coordinates the Rockdale County Peer Mediation and Peer Leadership Program. You can reach her at cynthia_morton@yahoo.com.
