Dr. Richelle Whittaker

Dr. Richelle Whittaker is an Educational psychologist, parent educator, and author. She is devoted to educating, equipping, and empowering parents, specifically moms. She is an engaging and interactive speaker combining both her knowledge and personal experience. Dr. Whittaker has worked in the educational field for the last 20 years. She worked in the field of Special Education as a department chair and resource teacher. She also has provided countless assessments to children with disabilities.

Dr. Whittaker has provided numerous trainings from social-emotional behavior to parent advocacy. She has a private practice, Providential Counseling, where she specializes in maternal mental health in women of color. Dr. Whittaker has spoken in various media outlets such as radio, podcasts, webinars, panel discussions, and conferences on topics of education and maternal mental health. Her primary goal is to help moms advocate for themselves and their children in medical and educational settings. She is also the author of Burps, Bibs, and Breakdowns: A 90 Day Journal for Moms which is designed to assist moms in processing their emotions after birth and encouraging them to take care of their mental health.
